  • Has anyone ever shot a 444 marlin and if so what is the recoil like

  • The recoil is not bad it is slightly more than my 30-06 and less than my .300 Winchester Mag.

  • I've found the recoil on the .444 to be stout, but not unmanageable. I'd say it's more along the lines of the 7mm Mag. with 140-gr. bullets, myself, but everyone sees recoil differently.
