Edwin, both are fine but I'd go with the Savage axis 2. Very accurate, good triggers and from what I hear good customer service. They're a little pricier but Howa and Tikka make fantastic rifles and both have a sub moa accuracy guarantee Wich means with match ammo they're guaranteed to shoot 1 inch or less 3 shot groups at 100 yards.
