  • Eric, the store must have a valid FFL license. Other than that just add the firearm to your cart and proceed to checkout. First page will ask Wich FFL dealer you want to use. Then buds will ship it to the FFL you choose. I always recommend contacting the FFL you plan on using to let them know you're sending them a firearm to avoid any issues like them going out of town or anything but it's not required. Once the FFL receives the firearm normally they will contact you to let you know its been delivered but again it's not required for them to call so I always keep an eye on the tracking number buds emails to you once shipped. Then you do the background check/transfer and done. Hope this helps.

  • Hi Eric, as long as your local store is on file with Buds, Buds sends all your relevant contact info for the store to contact you once your firearm is received so no worries. I contact my local store to let them know I have incoming just as a courtesy. I also check tracking so I know when the delivery is made. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Eric both the other gentleman are correct however I do appreciate when the customer calls me before just having a firearm shipped that way it’s not a surprise when something just shows up. Also this way I can expect the shipment and if I’m not available the day it is to arrive I can staff someone to receive the package

  • As long as the Store owner is a Registered FFL dealer then there would be no issues. They would just need to send their FFL info to Bud's.

  • Eric, the store owner would have to have a FFL license, or Bud's wouldn't legally be allowed to send it. All firearms must be shipped to someone who has a Federal Firearms License.
