How is the fit and finish of the new Marlin's

If they were made in the past 2 years, they are good. Remington has improved but still not 100%.

It depends on the Model fit is normally very good the stainless is very good the paint on my model 60 receiver not so good

Fit and finish are as actually excellent. I own 2 Center fire and 2 Rim fire Marlins and I have no complaints with the fit nor finish of any of them. They range in age from 7 yrs to 1.5yrs old.
