Buds policy on layaway is as follows:
"If a layaway is cancelled prior to 90 days the 20% deposit will NOT be refunded."
You may want to call Bud's customer service though at 1-859-368-0371 9am-8pm EST Mon-Fri. To see if your situation will persuade them to not keep the layaway deposit.

yes you can cancel it but buds could keep the 2% you put down (sometimes they will waive it) Contact Buds customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button and they will help you We are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

Kevin, we're just customers as yourself not buds employees but according to buds policy the 20% down payment is non-refundable. I know buds is normally willing to work with people so I'd recommend contacting them at 859-368-0371 Monday thru Friday 9am to 9pm or you can use the blue chat button at the bottom right corner of your screen to see if they'll waive the fee.
