Ok let me rewrite this question. When the ambidextrous safety/deckoker is activated on a beretta px4 storm does it go into safety mode or does it just deckock it? Reason I’m asking is cause I saw a few of videos that stated it did. On these videos it said there is a way to get rid of this safety. Here on Buds site there is 2 models. One of them says deckoker and the other one it says ambidextrous safety/deckoker.

Luis, yes, when you activate the safety/decocker it decocks the hammer and disables the trigger at the same time. Unlike a standard safety that makes it so you just can't pull the trigger the px4 safety disables the trigger. So you can still pull the trigger but it doesn't engage the sear/hammer so it won't fire. Beretta has quite a few different models of the px4. The one with the safety/decocker is type F. They also have type G wich only has the decocker, so no safety. There's also type C wich is single action only and doesn't have a safety or decocker. Lastly there's type D wich is double action only and like type C doesn't have a safety or decocker. Sounds like you were looking at type F and type G. If you buy the one with the safety/decocker and find out you'd prefer the decocker only they make conversion kits that can easily be installed to convert it to decocker only. So you can easily convert the safety/decocker to decocker only if you want to down the road. Hope this helps.
