Andrew, I'd recommend taking the pistol apart and cleaning/lube it really well. I'd also check everything over and make sure nothing came loose. Unfortunately seems like a common issue with the ppk. Hi Andrew, you likely have a burr issue that is causing friction between the barrel and slide movement.
