I recently purchaes an Orion 12 gauge. The barrel selector moves side to side with no resistance. I would think there would be something like a detent to at least hold it in one position.Weatherby says this is normal.

Joel, according to few reviews I've found it does seem like a normal complaint. You would think weatherby would of made a little resistance but sounds normal. Sorry but hope this helps some.

Hi Joel, unfortunately Weatherby is correct. My model has the exact same characteristic. Cheesy design if you ask me. Cheers and stay safe!

Yeah, unfortunately a common issue. It isn't a defect, just a "Normal" problem.
