I have a chiappa 1911-22. The plastic mags are the worst. Are there any other brands made of metal that will work in this hand gun ?

William, I'm not finding any. Chiappa doesn't make any and from what I can find it isn't compatible with any other brand magazines. I know a few people had issues with the magazine and called the manufacturer and they replaced them. Seems they either have issues with them or run flawlessly. So I'd recommend contacting chiappa at 937-835-5000 or you can email them at (info@chiappafirearms.com) and see if they'll ship you new ones. Sorry but hope this helps some.
