  • Is this the complete list of illegal pistols in Illinois. I was told one heritage pistol is legal. If so which one?

  • Because these are replicas, i dont think the melting point law applies. But if they do, get a Steel Framed one and you are 100% safe! I just read on it for over an hour. Man these state laws are getting rediculous!!

  • There are two types of frames from what I understand. An alloy and a steel frame. The steel frame should be what you are looking for. If you go through the Heritage revolvers on Bud's, there will be red text above the description that says *This model does not meet requirements for melting point laws. On others it does not. Definitely check with a local firearms expert or even Sheriff's dept. to make sure you are within the law. Interesting laws you have there in IL. Hope this helps!
