I am 20 bucks short of the $299 minimum layaway purchase requirement. Does tax count?

Like any brick & mortar store, same rule applies here at Bud's. The price must reach the layaway minimum Before tax is added.

Hi David, unfortunately no Sir. I would call Buds to see if will allow the Layaway at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
