Texas Defender Barrel Compatibility

I have acquired 3 barrels for the Texas Defender. Can I buy just the grip? I figure it may be more cost effective to buy the whole gun. If I buy the complete gun can I be sure that my barrels will work right or is there more I need to know about which gun to specify.
