I'm told that some earlier CPX-2 pistols had structural issues that could cause failure when firing. Have these issues been resolved and how do we tell if a gun was manufactured during issue or post issue?

problems all appeared to be early Gen 1 handguns these are current production nothing to worry about

Your information is correct David. Those issues have been resolved. For peace of mind, Buds only have the Gen 2 pistols in inventory. The Gen 2 is on top and the Gen 1 on bottom for comparison of different grip style : http://i51.tinypic.com/5l9kbs.jpg
