Hi Mike and welcome. It is doable if you take your time. The most challenging parts of the kit are the Receiver/Trigger Group parts but, there are plenty of step-by-step youtube videos if you get into any trouble. These days the cost differences of kits and complete uppers/Lowers is negligible. Cheers and stay safe!
