  • There are several reviews on the Beretta website that pertain to issues with these Tomcats developing frame cracks after a few hundred rounds. How can this pistol still be sold if it's developing major issues? Are reviewers incorrect or is this indeed a known issue?

  • it only takes a few bad guns before the internet make it seem like a major problem No one mentions the 1000s of guns that never have a issue and you know Beretta will stand behind their guns

  • Hi Seth and welcome. Seems to be luck of the draw on these. As long as you properly maintain and lube your Tomcat and stay away from Hyper Velocity loads, you should be fine. Beretta has a good reputation if needed for any issue that may develop. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
