Product info says: Caliber 223 Remington/5.56 NATO. Which is primary caliber? .223 or 5.56
Hi Richard and welcome. 5.56 since the barrel is stamped 5.46NATO it is the primary and can fire both. A .223REM stamped barrel should only fire .223. Cheers and stay safe!
When a firearm is chambered for 5.56 it can also shoot .223.
5.56 would be the primary caliber here because if this were chambered Only for. 223. Then it could not fire the higher pressured 5.56 cartridge.

Diamondback Firearms DB15 5.56x45 NATO 16" Black, M-LOK Handguard, 30+1
Hi Richard, there is no 'primary' caliber. It will shoot both 5.56 and .223, whichever you like.
The gun is rated for 5.56, which means it will shoot both calibers.
Stay safe & have a great day!
