Hi Dee, in my opinion, this Hi-Point is a bit heavy for such a small gun, at 29 oz. Also, Hi-Point pistols are not known for their quality.

And the Ruger LCP Max does not have a thumb safety, which is why I recommended the Security .380

If you want something small yet effective for CC, there's the Ruger LCP MAX. It's a small package but boasts a 10+1 round capacity.
