With a 270 any Soft Point will work. I would use a varmint bullet so over penetration would be less of an issue. Nothing will stop the .270 from over penetrating. It will shoot through cinder block walls so be well aware that it will go through a couple of houses before it stops. I got to see a crime scene where 223's were shot through a stucco wall house and into the neighboring house's living room. The 100 grain loads may be the safest but I wouldn't count on it.
