Hello Timothy, I actually owned a flat dark earth version of this 1911 from Girsan, its the typical difficulty for racking a 1911, which is not easy for people with low hand strength especially in 45 acp, a 9mm variant would be a little easier as the springs wouldnt be as heavy.

Not bad for me but, that being said I don't know what your hand strength level is?
