Left handed pistol

I'm looking for my first hand gun and not very familiar with hand guns. I'm left handed so, I could use some suggestions for a good yet economical, hand gun. I'm leaning toward a 9mm. Mainly because that's what I've heard about the most. I want it for concealed carry and personal protection. Any suggestions welcome. Randy

I would recommend the Gen 5 Glock 19 as the slide stop is on both sides and the mag release is reversible.

If you have a local gun store, I would just take a few minutes and stop by to handle a few pistols to see what actually feels good in your hands Randall. You will want a pistol that settles naturally in your hand with minimal adjustments needed and also have sights that have a quick pickup.

you will find that there is almost no true left handed handguns but there are a lot of ambidextrous guns and partially ambidextrous (ambidextrous safeties) here is a good one ambi safety and slide release with a reversible magazine release
