I've read that the trigger pull is rated at 11 pounds. If this is true, why so outrageously high? High trigger pull weights can greatly affect accuracy. Yeah, it's a close quarters shotgun...but 11 lbs!?

Hi Barry and welcome. My model trigger pull tested 10.4lbs when brand new. After 200 or so rounds, trigger pull has settled in at 8.6lbs average and varies very little.
