Crimson Trace Red Dot Installation Problems

My Smith & Wesson LE PC M&P9 Shield Plus 9mm NT came with a Crimson Trace red dot sight. The screws that came with the red dot to switch out the screws on the Shield Plus appear to be just a tad bit too short. I have read that others had this problem too. I was wondering if anyone had a solution to acquire the correct length screws to complete the attachment? Thank you all in advance.

One answer says it accepts AICS magazines, while another answer says it accepts Savage's 4 round flush fit mags, or their #55185 10 round round mags.
