Steve thanks for answering, can you reply with some directions please thanks... I'm trying to look for a public safe land where I can look to shoot in California. I'm not trying to go to shooting range where they charge you money too shoot your own weapon and ammo. Does anyone know a specific place around Los Angeles. I don't mind driving a couple hours away either but the closer the better. Can anyone suggest me a specific place? Just looking for open public legal land too shoot on.

Is this rifle legal to own in New York if I am a civilian? Is this considered an assault rifle or a hunting rifle? I currently own a Savage 111 and a Remington M710 and walked in/out of the gun store with it so I don't think it should be a problem, right?

Do these mags come as pictured with the flat metal base plate? And can you remove the plastic base plate from ALL 1911 mags? Rock Island sent me a Mec-Gar with a plastic plate and I don't want to force it off before I know if its connected to anything.

I have seen many of these Don Hume JITs advertised but when I checked with Don Hume, many of these won't fit the G2 because of the rail. Anyone buy one of these so I can be sure?

whats the diffrents on the GP and the hi-cap? also i went to look at a brand new cia 2017 wasr10 at a local shop today and it was milled ,i thought all cia wasr10 were stamped ? the shop employes were just as surprised as i was ...can any1 help and explain that please ??
