Both of these M&P 45 acp Shield pistols (to my knowledge) are striker fired and double action handguns. However, the MA Compliant model 11704 says it is "Double Action" and the model say it is "Striker Fired". Is there a difference? If so, what is it? I'm interested in purchasing the MA Compliant model. Thank you, Daniel

i dont know where these other guys learned how to read but in ya own post you use a link that if u know how to read says RIMFIRE rifles are not subject to restrictions as a centerfire thus u can have folding stock and ect... i live in beautiful san diego California i think i should know

I've been an NRA member way longer than I have owned a firearm because I'm a patriot. I bought my first sidearm, C&C a few years back (a S&W 9mm) and I love it. I want to get my first AR15 now. I'm not a serious shooter, and I want a good "starter" that doesn't cost too much. Again, I'm a novice, so I know very little about ARs. What caliber are they? What's a good brand for a beginner? How many magazines should I have? How big of a magazine? Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated.
