i live in an apartment complex. the walls are thin here and yet need a defense weapon in case of riots in milwaukee....i like cap and ball and heard of putting in birdshot instead of .454 lead balls in an uberti 1848 Remington ..good idea or not? Also I am a newbie here on cap and ball ---which is better the pietta or uberti models of the 1848 stainless steel? Thanks for input.... i'm nofool

I am waiting on my Henry Long Ranger to arrive chambered in .223/5.56 I would like to have a nice scope that will reach out to 150 yards and not break the bank. i have always been an open sight guy with the exception of a peep sight here and there so i am scope ignorant. i would like to stay below 200 bucks if possible. suggestions?

I am a resident of Michigan, 18 years old and would like to purchase a handgun from this website. In Michigan, to by a handgun from federal sales you have to be 21, but if you purchase from a private seller you can buy a handgun at 18. My problem is, this website says the firearm can only be shipped to a seller with a Federal Firearms License. Does that mean I won't be able to purchase the handgun from where it's shipped because I'm not 21? Or can the place they ship it to still sell privately?
