I AM going to purchase a shotgun. Primarily for Home Defense. I'm a 20 year FF and also Veteran. CHL Holder. Experienced with numerous platforms. I LIKE the magazine option....of the MOSSBERG 590 M SHOCKWAVE. However, is it worth it? Without it..you have just one. The profile is exceedingly larger than the model without the magazine. However, holds only 6. Tactical reloading? Attachment options? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are the sights on this Gen 2 the same sights that are included on the older Gen 1, with the adjustable front sight post? I didn't like the gen 1 sights and replaced the with Red Lion sight and that is a much better sight.
