Carbon steel or stainless steel barrel? I asked this question previously but confused it with barrel finish when I asked about blued or stainless. I believe the correct answer will be surface treated carbon steel but I see another Venture that is stainless and that is why I ask.

I have an opportunity to pick up this rifle brand new for $600.00. the thing is the handguard has been damaged significantly. If I get this rifle, I was under the impression to switch the free float handguard that some have their proprietary nuts, and others us that factory installed GI nut. Does anybody know what steps I have to take to swap out the handguard without having to spend the 400 buck discount on sending it back to bushmaster for replacement? I'd like to do it myself if possible.

Sorry, but I removed the first answer, only because I did not see how to ask a further question. James said the C100 is all steel and can handle a +P, but this frame is Alloy, not steel. Can it still take the +P Pressure?

I wanna finance about 3 firearms, I already got approved for the loan amount. But my question is, will my firearms be shipped to my local FFL dealer before I start making payments, or when my first payment is made, or after I paid off my loan? If my firearms are shipped before I make the payments then that’s fantastic! However if I have to wait till my loan is paid in full then I think that just defeats the purpose of Financing. Please let me know!

From the description, it seems as if this includes the pistol (because it gives its specs), the holster and the safe. The pictures include all three, as well. I find it hard to believe that they all come in at under the pistol price alone! But, if so, I am ALL-IN!!!
