Hello ,, Recently purchased a new small frame 642 from S&W - nice gun - I like it - perfect conceal piece - however - I'm for sure a senior and my physical abilities aren't quite what they used to be - what can I say ... Trying to find a load or bullet weight with more controllable recoil ( less recoil ) but still maintain accuracy - Can anyone shield some light? Currently using Magtech's 158grn FMJ Flat Nose for target rounds.

I recently purchased from Bud's a Mossberg MMR 223 16 30R rifle. Invoice says .223, but stamped on the gun, and on the clip says 5.56. I have read about the different pressures between the 2 kinds of ammunition, and I want to know is this rifle actually safe firing the 5.56, and if there might be some brand of the 5.56 to avoid.

Is this gun painted black? The picture makes it look grey. I don't like Cerakoted guns; but I like the gun itself. I've heard the black guns show the least amount of damage to the finish; due to the undercoat also being black.

Of course will this accept the original magazine just like the M4A1 or the M16A2 service rifles? Because I'm using this as my SHTF (like the Purge) and target shooting. Of course as a member of the US Army I'm trained to use the original M16 magazines.

Would someone please confirm whether or not the barrel of this firearm has rifling -- Reviewer - Tim D - says it's a smooth bore firearm. Charter Arms Website says... it is ".22 Magnum TARGET Pathfinder with 4.2" Barrel" Find it very difficult to believe that a "target" firearm would be a "smooth-bore". Thank You

What are the differences between the Savage model 22648 and 19132? Both show as a Savage 11 Long Range Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor. Every page I can find shows them with the exact same specs, but the model 19132 costs $209 more. It would be nice to know the difference before buying one.

First time out and the firing pin failed to strike the primer around 50% of the time.I pulled the bolt and the firing pin seem's to move the way it should.Any idea's?
