Since the voluntary recall is just that, voluntary is it not still safe in the old style trigger? I would think if it is not then they would make it mandatory. I do not like that they mill the slide for the disconnect to be able to fit. It will actually make this a non modular firearm in which it is supposed to be. If you take a different slide to put on it from another P320 it will have to be milled out to fit if it has been upgraded

3.9 or 5 is the only diff in this and std carry......straight trigger, more beavertail, and i more mag......the grip looks longer

Does this have the M2.0 trigger like is in the new M&P9 2.0 that had the 15 round mag. This M&P9C has the 12 round mag and is slightly smaller but I cant tell if it has the updated trigger like the larger model has.

My TaurusSS4 shows some damage after wildfires destroyed my home. The gun was in a safe; the grips melted but otherwise looks OK. Action and trigger seem fine. Would it be safe to use with a new grip? Any further recommendations?
