Has the Tristar Cobra III Marine Tactical 12ga model been discontinued by Tristar ? I did an advance cc payment on this model on and other gun store website - 2 days later got a message the store was refunding my money back back because the gun is "OBSOLETE". I found that answer to be very strange. Anybody have any knowledge on this subject ?

I live in NY so shooting is a fun thing where I need to go to a range. I would like to purchase a rifle, but stuck on what meets my needs. I was look at RUGER 10/22 INTERNATIONAL SS/WD .22 LR, but for $383, i felt it is too serious for an occasional use. The others I am looking at are: 1. Savage 64 64FXP Semi-Auto .22 LR Sythetic Scope Savage 2. Savage 45100 64FVXP .22 LR W/SCP 3. Ruger 10/22 Carbine .22 LR Which one should I consider? Or is there other ones that would meet my needs?
