Back around 2013-2014 there were many internet reviewers (many means many/ multiple) who claimed their gun fired when it was closed. Returns to/ from the factory was slow and generally unsuccessful in fixing them. Not seeing any similar complaints here I'm hoping it's been resolved. I really want to like this gun (for grandson) but not if its unsafe.

Guess I didn’t explain my concerns with cleaning my PX4 Compact!! I always make sure my guns are unloaded and safe to clean! What I was trying to convey was that the rotating barell presents added attention to detail with more parts. It is after reassembly and when ready to shoot that I’m concerned. I do press check to see if barell is rotating first. Think I’ll just trade it for an FNS9C, I like the looks and reviews on it anyway! Any negative issues with FNH?? Thanks

Ok , Ill rephrase the question because ppl do not read the question. DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY OWN ONE THAT PURCHASED THROUGH HERE? On the S&W Performance Center site there is only one model 500 offered in the 3.5" barrel size. It is call Model S&W500™ HI VIZ® Fiber Optic. It appears to have a bright green front barrel ramp (versus orange) and weighs 56.8 oz versus 69.9oz. My question is...is the gun offered by Bud's the same gun as the one on S&W PC page?

Hi i would like to know if this replacement trigger can improved my shooting percentage or performance for my S&W SD9VE because everytime i went to shooting range i almost could not hit my target in a very closed range but not my XD 357 SIG that almost perfect my shooting percentage so i suspected might be the trigger is not working for me appropriately. What would you do? New to handguns. I have shot both the PX4 Compact and the older XD9SC! Like both. Don’t like the more detailed cleaning with Storm, concerned I might mess up with reassembly and go off in my hand! I have extra ext mags for MOD2, if my older XD9SC uses same as MOD2??
