How many 2 3/4 shells can one load in the tube. I know some 3 inch shell guns will take four 3 inch but will take five 2 3/4 inch in the tube.

I currently carry the XDs-.45 compact which I love but I'm wanting to try something with more fire power as oppose to the 7 round max that I currently have. I can adjust from .45 to 9mm. I like the Springfield but in the event that I ever had to use it I don't want to worry about a seven shot as oppose to 14+.
