If a muzzleloader rifle (CVA Optima) can be shipped directly to my home address legally in my state (from what I understand) without the FFL transfer hassle, why is it asking me to choose a FFL when I try to check out? It would be nice if I could just talk to someone at Bud's directly about this but it doesn't seem like they give that option.

Hi all. I am a new FFL in CA. I am at the cusp of my first sale, but the client wants a (currently out of stock) Kimber Ultra Raptor or Kimber Ultra CDP II- both ar 45 ACP 7+1. These two are currently out of stock at Buds. Does anyone else know when Bud's will have these in stock again? Or where else can I purchase one right away since this is my first sale and I want to start my business off on the right foot.

I have used a 12 gauge pump action (ouch) as well as a 6" S&W 686 .357 w/a .357 round (not bad). How would you rank the recoil of a mare's leg in a .44. I've seen the recoil complaints on the .44 handgun and "noncomplaints" on the .44 Henry Carbine. How's the mare's leg? Thanks!

I have read very good overall reviews of the M&P Shield, but the only negative I have found concerns the trigger. I have read that the break if too far back and both firing and reset are gritty. Can anyone confirm or deny with recent purchases?

Thanks for the response Becky T. But nothing in your response answered the question. Can anyone else out there explain an "action bar safety"? This site doesn't explain it well. What do they mean "hold the trigger rearward before it will fire"? Do I need to shoot differently? How does it work??? Please explain. Thanks.......................... Scott

I'm a glock guy but the 3 inch 1911 are really appealing to me. I'm looking at a colt defender because it is all steel. My question is does the aluminum framed 1911 wear fast? Are there any negatives to the aluminum frames? Also what other steel frame 3" 1911s are there? Thank you all.

Is this magazine right for a Colt 90 Series 45 cal. Many magazines described as being for a Colt 45 are short (for the Colt Commander 45) and are not made for the 90 Series.

Ok. Fully functional AR 15s are allowed in Colorado, and so are 30 round mags. I have magazines but if i order an AR from buds can you just KEEP the magazine that comes with it. Will buds ship a gun minus the magazine to Colorado for customer service reasons? We have an odd situation here where it's all legal but we just cant buy 30 round magazines, yet we can own them.
