Question is does every firearm have to fo thu FFL first now when buying? The reason I ask is I bought a Mossberg 22 carbine type rifle a couple years ago and it actually was delivered Fed Ex. I did a fact check on myself about this and yea, the 22 was delivered by Fed Ex to my door.

My question is as follows: Is it at all normal for the receiving FFL to inspect the weapon by doing a "function test" (cocking) the rifle? I ask this as when I walked into the shop to pick-up a recently ordered AR, one of the guys behind the counter was operating the charging handle on my gun. Just wondering. Thanks in advance.

I ordered a handgun and payed with a money order. I dropped off the envelope with the money order at the Post Office on Friday, August 3rd around 10:30 AM. The night before I payed the $25 deposit with my debit card. I just got an email today (Monday August 6) saying that my secured payment was received. Does this mean that Buds already received my money order or does that me they got the $25 deposit. I apologize if this sounds like a dumb question. First time paying with money order.

If I order a gun from Buds and I REFUSE the gun (and DO NOT do the transfer) because it's not the correct generation I was expecting, would I get a full refund for ALL costs associated with the order (shipping insurance, lifetime warranty, the gun, etc)? Does anyone know if this new layaway fee system is retroactive? I've got a couple of layaway's that now have the message that there are no fees through X date. I did not agree to that at the time and certainly don't feel they should be retroactively sticking fees on if they are. I've got no problem doing them on orders placed now with that policy in place.
