Just purchased this G2C and in loading, after cleaning and polishing, I noticed I could not chamber a round from the mag using the slide release lever. Got a FTF every time. However, I could chamber fine by drawing back and releasing the slide. Have not noticed this on any other semi-auto. Is this normal for this gun?

just finished my concealed carry course and qualified with a S &W 9 mm .. Always have had revolvers and wanted to try the semi-auto. I liked that this 9mm had both double and single action---in that when fully loaded - you could activate the hammer lock and if needed to shoot asap-----just pull the trigger in double action, then the pistol would then revert back to single action and shoot quick. I was told S&W no longer makes this. Which other 9 mm can also do this? Great safety feature Thank
