I'm told that some earlier CPX-2 pistols had structural issues that could cause failure when firing. Have these issues been resolved and how do we tell if a gun was manufactured during issue or post issue?

Is this gun painted black? The picture makes it look grey. I don't like Cerakoted guns; but I like the gun itself. I've heard the black guns show the least amount of damage to the finish; due to the undercoat also being black.

Would someone please confirm whether or not the barrel of this firearm has rifling -- Reviewer - Tim D - says it's a smooth bore firearm. Charter Arms Website says... it is ".22 Magnum TARGET Pathfinder with 4.2" Barrel" Find it very difficult to believe that a "target" firearm would be a "smooth-bore". Thank You

Any input is appreciated. I’m torn between a Ruger 3759 LCP II Double 380 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) 2.75" 6+1 FS Polymer Grip/Frame Savage Stainless Cerakote or S&W 40 Shield for a new CC. What’s your take? Any recommendations in favor or either one or a different gun. Small guy so I’m looking for light (but I still want to know it’s there) and concealability with minimal printing IWB or OWB. Also, holster recommendations?
