Had a friend send me a picture from instagram with the S&W shield marked at $214.95 after the $75 rebate. That makes the actual price $289.95. This was from buds in TN and I am wondering if the buds in Lexington can/will match the actual price of $289.95 before rebate? Has anyone else tried or had success with price matching between the Buds stores?

This Taurus is listed as double action only. But I can't find anything on a double action only Taurus PT140 G2. So my question is this double action/single action like all other G2s? If not why doesn't Taurus list a double action only PT140 G2 on their website?

I have had fiber optic sights installed on all of my semi automatics and would not want to be without them. I am interested in the Browning scaled down 1911. From any picture of the pistol that I have found it appears that the rear sight is dovetailed in and thus easily replaceable. I can't make out how the front sight is attached. Any help appreciated
