I have 2 woman I am thinking about really. My wife wants a revolver, 38 or something like that. So what are the best hammerless revolvers for her? The other, her friend wants something "that does not have recoil". Is there a good 9mm that has minimal recoil? I hesitate to recommend a 380 for either as they would limp wrist it for sure. I have used a 12 gauge pump action (ouch) as well as a 6" S&W 686 .357 w/a .357 round (not bad). How would you rank the recoil of a mare's leg in a .44. I've seen the recoil complaints on the .44 handgun and "noncomplaints" on the .44 Henry Carbine. How's the mare's leg? Thanks!

Anyone having problems with the RP9 jamming/stove piping/not seating the round properly. Had several problems with this, ammo might be part of the problem, however, the ammo doesn't effect the round not seating. I often have to smack the back of the slide with the palm of my hand to seat the round in order for the gun to fire.??

I am in the market for a single action .22lr/wmr. I used to have a ruger single six till it was stolen by an ex girlfriend, but don't want to spend that kind of money.
