Hi all which is best to use for protection the Federal P9HS2 Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point or the Federal P9HS1 Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point? Can anyone tell me whether Federal Premium .410 Handgun Ammo, 3" #4 Buckshot load will work in a Mossberg .410 Home Security shotgun? I've seen reviews that say it works fine in that gun, but I had a vendor recommend that I NOT use the handgun ammo in a shotgun. That doesn't make sense to me, but I don't know everything there is to know about it.

Already bought one of this beauty, but read the handbook saying not designed for 7/8 oz or 1 oz shotshells, it suggested to use standard 1 1/8oz shells. I'm planning on using this gun for sports clays, wondering if it is ok to shoot 1 oz size 7.5 shells without any issue. Love the gun just want to make sure there is fine to use light shells.

Trying to see what the FPS is on these. My rifled shotgun has a 1 in 35" twist and I've seen the best performance for shotguns that have between 1 in 34" twist work best with 1200-1500 fps and shotguns with 1 in 30" perform best with 1900-2000 fps. Looking for the perfect round that will give the sabot proper spin for my shotgun. Thanks in advance.

Hello ,, Recently purchased a new small frame 642 from S&W - nice gun - I like it - perfect conceal piece - however - I'm for sure a senior and my physical abilities aren't quite what they used to be - what can I say ... Trying to find a load or bullet weight with more controllable recoil ( less recoil ) but still maintain accuracy - Can anyone shield some light? I recently purchased from Bud's a Mossberg MMR 223 16 30R rifle. Invoice says .223, but stamped on the gun, and on the clip says 5.56. I have read about the different pressures between the 2 kinds of ammunition, and I want to know is this rifle actually safe firing the 5.56, and if there might be some brand of the 5.56 to avoid.

So, I recently bought a mossberg patriot chambered in 300 win mag from Buds, process went smoothly as usual, have loved the gun. I also purchased from buds a box of 20 Winchester super x, and it went smoothly as well. All fired perfectly I then purchased two boxes of the same ammo, and some rounds will not let the bolt go all the way down. I think out of 40, 7 or so will not properly chamber. Is it an issue with my gun? Or the ammo? I apologize in advance if this isn’t the place to ask
