Dear respected community please help me with this issue. I purchased a CETME G3. My question is, what is the best ammunition for this beautiful weapon (.308 WIN @ 147gr or 7.62x51 @ 147gr /145gr? What is the difference between 7.62x51 & 7.62x54? I used 7.62x39 in the Marine corps with the M-14. A beautiful and powerful weapon. I am also considering the price point in my ammo purchases. I’m planning on buying a hi-point carbine 40s&w. I’m an Ohioan under 21 but over 18. Can I buy the ammunition online if I buy it with the carbine? And would it be smart to call the dealer ahead of time to ask if it would be able to transfer if it’s clear it’s for the carbine?

Hell'o Sorry to repeat this question, but there was no way to reply as far as I can see. My question was about the warning from wolf ammo not to use their product in the sport due to the possibility of a discharging out of battery. Someone suggested I call S&W to get some insight. I called and talked to someone in s&w customer service and they told me not to use wolf ammo in their firearms due to issues with it.
