I've been an NRA member way longer than I have owned a firearm because I'm a patriot. I bought my first sidearm, C&C a few years back (a S&W 9mm) and I love it. I want to get my first AR15 now. I'm not a serious shooter, and I want a good "starter" that doesn't cost too much. Again, I'm a novice, so I know very little about ARs. What caliber are they? What's a good brand for a beginner? How many magazines should I have? How big of a magazine? Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand I can go to Buds' website and setup either a sell or trade, but I was wondering if Buds does this at their store locations? If I brought my firearms in, would they look at them and either give me a quote or make a trade right then and there? Also, do they trade used for new, or does it need to be used for used?

I was in the Army as Combat Engineer (Airborne) and learned to operate all kinds of different weapon systems civilians never get to use. However, I've never been a "gun nut" or had the interest until recently. Im starting to collect more guns and I really want to learn as much as I can about all kinds of guns. Does anybody have a good recommendation about what books I could buy like a guns 101 kind of book or should i get Guns and Ammo magazine? Thanks!

I am wanting to sell some guns to either Buds or other local gun shops. A family member gifted these guns to me so I do not have them registered to me. Does Buds or other gun shops in general require guns they buy to be registered to that seller or will they still buy them?

How is it that I can walk into the brick and mortar store in Tennessee and by a rifle off of the shelf but cannot purchase the same rifle online without paying the $30 VIP fee? My last rifle was purchased from Buds online with no problems. Is this just target marketing because my internet history shows I am interested in the product? I literally looked at this certain rifle on the shelf while traveling through Tennessee.
