Ron, sorry I was editing my answer and it got deleted. Despite what wikipedia says, I have seen on some forums that some 1878 Coach Guns are made in China, and even Pakistan. PRC= Peoples Republic of China. And if it says 2 3/4", it cannot fire 3" shells.
